Resemblances.

Rudy is a fair-skinned, blue-eyed, blonde, little milkmaid, and sometimes I think the only physical thing we have in common is our glasses.  Although that's changing as she grows, it seems that most of what she's got from me are aspects of my little-kid personality: a silly sense of humor and a flush of happiness in making others laugh.  Those are just smidgens of what makes a Rudy Toot who she is, of course.  She continues to be the one out of our six children whom my sisters and I have labeled with certainty as "The Wild Card."  And anyone who watches her play or dance or create and enact entire dialogues with her Lambies knows that whatever traits she's gotten from her family, she has shaped those into an essence that is all Rudy.
