It's no joke.

1.  I have strategically cropped this picture so that the bottom half of me doesn't show.

2.  Today I had to stop filling out progress reports for my SAT class so that I could give Rudy a lunchie bottle.  With my free hand, I flipped though a lacrosse book to try and figure out the difference between direct and indirect free positions.  I never got that far.

3.  When I started blogging, Todd joked that I was so lonely I was talking to myself on the internet.  (I've used that line before.  And you know what?  I often tell the same story over and over.  Like the time in AP English, almost ten years ago, when a student tossed me a pen across the circle of desks and I reached out and grabbed it with one hand.  One hand!  It was so cool and casually athletic; of course I still talk about it.)

4.  Am I talking to myself?  No.  But I still don't really know my audience because I don't get that many comments, and my followers list stagnated at six for weeks before the lovely Beth joined a few days ago.  As Artie Lange would say, "Waaahhhh."  Listen, I'm a middle child, and I like to entertain.  Reassure me, people.  Follow and comment.

Jen...rest assured you are not talking to yourself. You are talking to Liz and me. He he. I love, love, love reading your blog and check it every single day. Hang in there.
I'd like to agree with Todd. You are a lonely loser. Also, not much of a LAX (douche chills) coach. Generally, you suck at life and should just give up.
However, I also agree with Jill. I love your blog and check it every day, but I am an even lonelier loser.

I also hate lax. It's lacrosse. I hate xmas, and ur, which some dope actually used in her practice SAT essay. Textese is also a douche chilly word.

Yeah, I'm reading, too, and I'm entertained! But I have no idea what "douche chills" are, and I'm pretty sure it's better that way.

Hi Pupa,

I've been reading and laughing my ass off ever since you first emailed me about the blog. I love it!

I can't imagine having a free hand or free mental space while giving Stella bottle. Feeding Rudy sounds nice! When I feed Stella, it still feels like I'm diffusing a bomb.

Love the blog. Keep it up!

I have to ask, how often do you leave comments on other blogs? Ahem.
