Step Off.
Look out. Toot is almost a year and a half. And she's prone to brief fits of complete outrage. This look is the beginning of the grumpy and defiant face she makes after I tell her, "no." In Rudy's fully-formed Screw You Face, she widens her eyes and presses her lips together, as if to say, "I'm gonna DO IT. Just try me. Just. Try. MEEE!"
She's also starting to say, "no," herself. And like all of Rudy's communication, she says it several times in a row, just to get her point across. It's not, "kitty." It's "Kitty. Kitty. Kit-ty. Kit-ty!" It's not, "No." It's, "No. Noooo. No! NO! No. No." She shakes her head. Sometimes she rips off her glasses and dramatically hurls them. And then she smacks herself in the head, just to let you know that she's crazy and unpredictable and will do anything, so WATCH OUT."
Oh, Rudy. I love that kid so much.
