Merry and Bright: Christmas Day In Three Photos.

 1.  Marley looks over the presents her awesome parents and Santa left under the tree.

She got enough of a sleepy eyeful that she was then able to snuggle with me and Todd in bed for a full hour before she just couldn't take it any more, and then we had to go and wake up Rudy.

 2.  Everyone is styling in her sweet Christmas nightie or jammies.

I have not owned clothes specifically made for sleep since Heather bought me a Super Grover nightie for my birthday, before I had children.  I've since let that one go; it really only felt appropriate and actually, the right size, when I wore it as a hugely pregnant lady.

3.  Marley and Jeff pantomime the true meanings of Christmas.

At Heather's and Michael's, the evening ended with a series of Just Dance 3 workouts.  I threw myself into it all gleeful and floppy, even without a Wii controller in hand.  Jeff was casual but focused, and has since purchased the game himself, supposedly as a treat for Emma, but really so he and Danielle can train in private for the next dance-off.  The real champions were Marley and Emma, who Party-Rocked and Dynamited into the night with the most serious expressions on their faces.  You would've never known how much fun they were having.
