Yesterday, Rudy told me that when she and Hat aren't together, like when she's at preschool, she doesn't miss him.  At first I thought, "Oh no, Rudy.  Please don't be over your lambies yet.  I want that to go on for a little longer."  But then she explained that they don't miss each other because when they're apart, she's thinking about him, and he's thinking about her.  And this is because, she explained, "we love each other."  So no, she's not over her lambies yet.  In fact, she imagines that Hat is actively missing and loving her while she's busy singing the weather song at Circle Time or practicing forward rolls at gymnastics.  Of course he is.  I am, too.
